The Art of Letting Go

Listen to this while reading :)
Human beings suffer everyday because they keep holding on to things, people, and concepts. Our attachment to the world of 3D taught us to trust nothing beyond the five senses. Day after day we are taught to hold on tightly to the things we like, the people we love, and to die defending our beliefs. People are ready to spend money and take risks trusting a piece of paper, but we're too afraid to trust the core of our being, because we cannot hold it in our hands. When we hold on to stuff, we feel lost and broken when we lose them; because those things, people, and concepts become our only source of energy. Your temporary source of energy will soon become your source of suffering. Sooner or later it will die, and the story of suffering begins...
People often ask 'How to achieve inner peace?' as if it's something to be achieved in future or a physical object to be held in hands! Day after day we are taught to trust nothing beyond the five senses. In our "modern" culture, a headache pill is more trustworthy and carries more power than our hearts do! Day after day we are taught not to believe in what our eyes cannot see, and to trust nothing beyond the comprehension of our minds. So helpless and broken we become, away from our core of Being.
Inner peace is nothing to be found in the 3D, and you cannot plan for it or hold it between your hands. Inner peace is a state that arises suddenly, a realisation of who you truly are. Inner peace is who you truly are; beyond names, beliefs and concepts.
Inner peace is 'the art of letting go'
If you want to feel love, let go of who you love. If you wish to achieve happiness, let go of what makes you happy. If you're eager to freedom, stop looking for it outside you're being. A fool has lost his key inside the house, but insists on finding it outside!
Stop holding on to things that will make you a better person somewhere in the future; coz the future never comes, and nothing can make you better than who you truly are. You cannot be improved! But many politicians and men of religion will convince you that you have to hold on to so and so in order to become a better person and have a better life. And that's why most suffering happens under the name of politics and religion, or any other ideology that makes the future more important the present moment, and the 3D more important than the core of your Being.
Letting go means to trust...to trust that there is an Infinite Source of energy beyond all temporary sources, an infinite Being beyond all beings, beyond the five senses. Trust the intelligence beyond what seems co-incidental, the order beyond disorder, and the Oneness beyond the many. Let go of controlling events, and all events shall work for you. Let go of trying to change people, and the people will naturally follow you. Let go of the desire to change the wold, and the world will change for you. Let go of everything, and then you are left with nothing...then you realise the Oneness beyond all things.
But how do I let go of everything?
By letting go of the 'how's' and 'whats. :)
"The Tao(God) is infinite, eternal.
Why is it eternal?
It was never born;
thus it can never die.
Why is it infinite?
It has no desires for itself;
thus it is present for all beings.
The Master stays behind;
that is why she is ahead.
She is detached from all things;
that is why she is one with them.
Because she has let go of herself,
she is perfectly fulfilled.
Since before time and space were,
the Tao is.
It is beyond is and is not.
How do I know this is true?
I look inside myself and see..."
